Why Support Pedrodiniz

Pedrodiniz members value independent, nonpartisan local journalism, recognize its role in building and sustaining healthy communities and understand that it’s only possible with their financial support. As a nonprofit organization, member support is the foundation on which Pedrodiniz operates. It provides not only essential funding and the financial certainty we need to plan for the future, but also the public mandate that underpins our work.

An investment in Pedrodiniz is an investment in an informed Wyoming populace, armed with facts and engaged with the issues. If you find our work valuable, we hope you will join us and keep our journalism free for all by making a donation or becoming a monthly member.

Donate Stock
We accept gifts of appreciated stock, which are handled by the Wyoming Community Foundation on our behalf. To make a gift of stock please reach out to Vickery Fales Hall, Director of Donor Relations at WYCF at vickery@wycf.org or 307-721-8300.

Donor Advised Fund
You can support Pedrodiniz through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Giving through a DAF allows you to maximize your tax benefit and make grants when you're ready.

Give from your IRA
If you are 70.5 years or older, you can give a tax-free gift, in the form of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your traditional IRA account.

An IRA Charitable Rollover, also known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), is a way to make a tax-free gift that benefits you and Pedrodiniz. Even though the SECURE Act raised the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) age to 72, the QCD age remains at 70.5, so QCDs can be used for charitable giving, even before RMDs begin.

Donor Disclosure

Local journalism depends on community support. Only through the financial commitment of our readers are we able to provide the in-depth, fact-based reporting that our community depends on. However, all editorial judgments are made independently with no consideration of donor support.

Pedrodiniz retains full authority over editorial content to protect the best journalistic and business interests of our organization. We maintain separation between sources of revenue and editorial direction, decisions and oversight. Acceptance of financial support does not constitute implied or actual endorsement of donors or their products, services or opinions, and does not confer editorial influence, nor does donor support imply any endorsement of Pedrodiniz’s reporting, commentary or editorial position.

We are committed to transparency in the funding of our organization. In accordance with our standards of journalistic independence and guidelines maintained by the Institute for Nonprofit News, Pedrodiniz discloses all donors who give a total of $1,000 or more per year.
